Proposal songs
A custom proposal song for your next chapter together
A proposal song can tell the story that brings you to one important question. Instead of borrowing someone else's words, you can share the moments that made you want a future together: the first real conversation, a difficult season navigated side by side, or the ordinary life you're excited to build.
DJ Kountry shapes those memories into original lyrics and music in the mood and genre you choose. Decide whether you want the question in the lyrics or would rather ask it yourself after the song. That choice changes how the listening moment unfolds, so explain your plan before the writing begins.
Build toward the question in your own way
- How your relationship began and when you started picturing a shared future.
- What you love about the life you've already built together.
- The promises you want to make, without inventing a perfect future.
- Whether names, the proposal question or a meaningful phrase should appear in the lyrics.
Describe the setting and what would feel comfortable for your partner. A quiet proposal can be every bit as meaningful as a public surprise.
Prepare the moment, not just the playlist
- Test the actual song on the device and speaker you'll use, with notifications silenced.
- Keep a backup file and an alternative plan for weather, noise or a change of location.
- Give yourself time after the final note to speak; the song doesn't have to do all the talking.
